The film 'Sinbyeong: The Movie - A Ghost Lives in the Military Hospital', which TWICE's Jeongyeon has joined, has confirmed its release for December 30. Distributor KT Studio Genie announced the date on the 29th. The film follows new recruits who are admitted to a military hospital dreaming of a sweet rest, only to face terrifying rumors about the hospital they believed to be paradise and uncover its secrets. It expands the world of the drama 'Sinbyeong (The Recruit)', loved for its hyperrealistic episodes and distinctive characters, onto the big screen, with Min Jin-ki, who directed the drama, at the helm. Many of the drama's cast members, including Kim Min-ho as Park Min-seok, return, while Ryu Kyung-soo and TWICE's Jeongyeon join the cast. Ryu plays Yoo Jae-hoon, a mysterious soldier hospitalized at the military hospital, and Jeongyeon plays army nurse officer Yoo Jeong-yeon.
