Music producer Samuel Koo has been appointed as the inaugural head of Pacific Music Group (PMG) Korea. PMG is a global music label founded by American R&B star Ne-Yo, alongside Sonu Nigam and Jonathan Serbin, with the core mission of discovering and nurturing Asian artists for the global market. Samuel Koo is a seasoned professional in the domestic music industry, known for his work as a producer for GOT7, and possesses an extensive network within the Korean music scene. PMG Korea will operate labels across diverse genres including pop, R&B, hip-hop, and electronic music, with plans to actively produce content reflecting Korean musical characteristics. In response to his appointment, Koo emphasized that the launch of PMG Korea marks an important starting point for their global strategy, serving as a catalyst to organically connect markets across Asia and worldwide with clear artistic vision. He further outlined that the company will focus on connecting artists with the global stage and foster continuous growth through meaningful partnerships that transcend culture, community, and borders.
