DAY6 member WONPIL releases his first solo mini album 'Unpiltered' with the title track 'Love Ward' on March 30th. Since his debut with DAY6 in September 2015, WONPIL returns with new solo material nearly four years after his first full-length solo album 'Pilmography' released in February 2022. The new album focuses on WONPIL's unfiltered emotions and authentic self-expression, as he explained: "While I received great love through DAY6 activities, I wanted to express my deep and honest feelings without reservation and confirm what 'WONPIL-ness' truly means." The 'Unpiltered' album contains seven tracks including the title song 'Love Ward,' 'Toxic Love,' 'I've Become an Adult,' 'Up All Night,' 'Step by Step,' 'Not a Million Songs,' and 'Piano.' WONPIL receives writing credits on all tracks, further establishing his credentials as a singer-songwriter. The title track 'Love Ward' uses 'love' as a metaphor to unfold WONPIL's complex inner emotions, crafted with dramatic sounds that follow the natural flow of feelings. Producer Lee Woo-min (collapsedone), who has previously collaborated on DAY6's debut track 'Congratulations' and numerous hits, returns to participate in 'Love Ward,' adding new dimensions to both the sound and message. To enhance the listening experience, WONPIL will host a listening pop-up titled 'WONPIL: Unpiltered Layers' in Seoul's Seongdong-gu from March 27-29, and plans a solo concert at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul from May 1-3.
