IVE's Rei and Leeseo lead "Hero Comics" concept photos for "Looks Can Kill," turning into kitschy heroes with hair-rope powers and super strength

IVE has transformed into comic book heroes. On the 12th, Starship Entertainment released the "Hero Comics" version concept photos for the new album "Looks Can Kill" on its official social media, with Rei and Leeseo going first. The photos wittily reinterpret training scenes from the previously revealed "Hero Academy" universe. Leeseo depicts a unique superpower by using her long hair as a rope, adding kitschy props like a yo-yo and a doll. Rei expresses super strength with bare hands and bandaged fists, hooking a leg over a bar while winking or hoisting a bucket. In the unit shots, wide-angle photography, comic-style collages and speech bubbles create dynamic training scenes. The new album, out on the 26th, breaks away from the conventional hero mold with the message that "anyone can be the main character and hero of their own life." IVE will release more members' "Hero Comics" concept photos on the 13th and 14th and pre-release the title track "Looks Can Kill" on the 19th.
