Shindong of SUPER JUNIOR shared an update showing how he has changed after his diet. Shindong posted several selfies on social media with the caption, "I've only been posting AI photos lately, so I brought real photos in case you forgot my face." He wrote, "Went to Tokyo. There was no spot for me on the D&E poster, so I stood in front of it," and emphasized in English, "Not AI this time just the real me." In the photos, Shindong showed a noticeably slimmer face and a sharper jawline. Shindong had previously said he tried to lose weight with the obesity drug Wegovy but stopped after seeing no change in his weight even at the 1.7 dosage level. He then lost 37 kg in five months by not eating late-night snacks after 10 p.m., eating only set amounts at set times every day and walking more than 10,000 steps a day. He is reportedly maintaining his weight without a rebound even after stopping the medication.
