IVE are returning with a new mini album, "Looks Can Kill." IVE will first release the title track of the same name on the 19th, then officially release the mini album on the 26th. It is their first new release in about eight months since their second studio album "REVIVE+," and contains six songs: the title track plus "Mirror Mirror," "SNAKESKIN," "CRUMBS," "Girls Girls Girls" and "Glow Motion." Rei is credited as a lyricist on the title track, Gaeul and Liz also took part in songwriting, and the group collaborated with Gaeko, Omega Sapien, Lil Cherry and Zara Larsson, among others. The album's concept is "girl hero." In the teaser video "Post-Credit Scene: Girl Hero," the members transformed into the characters "Bad Pink" (Jang Won-young), "Spider Red" (Leeseo), "Gene Yellow" (Rei), "Wonder Green" (Gaeul), "Super Blue" (Liz) and "Captain Purple" (An Yu-jin). The agency explained that the "girl hero" is another alter ego following the cupid and magical girl concepts they presented before. Starship Entertainment also released group concept photos in the "girl hero" version on its official social media on the 9th. IVE have been performing overseas on their second world tour "SHOW WHAT I AM."
