TXT’s YEONJUN has released a pictorial and interview with fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar Korea. In the pictorial, he wore Miu Miu clothing, bags and shoes, filling an empty white space with his presence. In the interview, YEONJUN said serving as a mentor on the fashion survival show ‘Kill It: Style Creator War’ was “a time when I could learn even more myself,” adding that what he shared with the contestants was the need to shine as a player, so he tried to help based on his own experience. “Wearing clothes is one of the ways I express myself,” he said, describing fashion as an important form of expression alongside dance and music. On his U.S. activities, he said, “I think I get along well with America,” adding, “I didn’t know my songs were loved that much so far away, but this time I felt it for sure.” At ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ Summer Concert Series in New York’s Central Park, he wore custom Miu Miu, the first time the brand provided a custom outfit to a Korean male artist. He also became the first Korean singer to perform at ‘Z100 Summer Bash,’ held a Billboard ‘One Night Only’ solo show and threw a first pitch at a Los Angeles Dodgers game. Of pitching in front of 50,000 fans, he laughed, “I kind of blew it, but when else would I get to throw one?” Of his second mini album ‘NO LABELS: PART 02,’ released about eight months after ‘NO LABELS: PART 01,’ he said he made it because he didn’t want to let go of good songs that didn’t make ‘Part 1.’ “While working on my first solo album, I realized that the things I did to be perfect were pushing me further from what I wanted,” he said. “Now I’m loosening up a little and trying to be more myself, and I think I’ve naturally grown because of that mindset.”
