‘Hidden Trip 2,’ a Korea tourism promotion series hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and produced by Arirang TV, will premiere on Oct. 10 and air one episode per week worldwide through Arirang TV, Korea.net, Be My Korea and overseas OTT platform Kyool. ZEROBASEONE’s Kim Tae-rae and izna’s Mai and Jeong Sae-bi, who drew attention with a teaser released on Sept. 15, become ‘Trip Curators’ introducing the charms of travel in Korea. The three chose and researched the regions they wanted to visit in advance. Kim Tae-rae, featured in the first episode, introduces the history and hidden attractions of Buyeo, home to the love legend of Princess Seonhwa and Prince Seodong; Yeosu, host of the World Islands Expo; and Mungyeong, which holds the dreams of Joseon-era scholars. Mai and Jeong Sae-bi share their experiences of Daegu, the city of music; Danyang, a UNESCO Global Geopark; and Goyang, a K-meta-culture hub. “I’m happy to share this journey, which gave me unforgettable memories, with viewers around the world,” Kim said. “I hope you also travel to Korea’s hidden spots and make many happy memories.” Mai said she hopes foreign tourists will discover new charms of Korea through the show, and Jeong said she hopes it brings viewers healing and joy.
