YUJU (Choi Yu-na), formerly of GFRIEND, teased her comeback with a photo capturing the concept of her new album. A post on her social media on Oct. 6 shows her standing in front of a wall crisscrossed with red string, reaching toward photos and notes pinned to it while gazing at the camera, with the caption “file. 07.” The installation, which links multiple images and pieces of paper with string, visually conveys the narrative of a ‘file’ series tied to the album title and emphasizes the mysterious concept of her fourth mini album, ‘file. 07.’ YUJU will release ‘file. 07’ and make her solo comeback on Oct. 14. According to her agency, it is her first mini album in about one year and two months since her third mini album ‘In Bloom’ in August last year, and her first solo release in about six months since the April single ‘첫사랑은 저주다’ (First Love Is a Curse). She has begun a comeback countdown by releasing a coming-soon image and prologue film in sequence, describing the album’s concept with the keyword “unfinished.” YUJU debuted with GFRIEND in 2015 as a main vocalist, began her solo career with her first mini album ‘REC.’ in 2022, and was credited on every track of ‘In Bloom.’
