Girl group fromis_9 will take the stage at ‘POLARIS,’ the 2026 autumn festival held on Oct. 8 at Hoseo University’s Asan campus in South Chungcheong Province. Organized by the university’s 42nd student council, it is the school’s second festival this year, carrying on the energy of the main festival ‘Lucid Dream’ in May, which drew more than 20,000 people and featured YB, Apink, N.Flying and Kid Milli. The autumn festival will center on the campus’s circular lawn with student-run hands-on booths, a flea market and photo zones around campus. On stage, student club performances will be followed by guest performances from fromis_9 and rapper NO:EL, with fireworks closing the night. The festival is open not only to students and staff but also to local residents and high school students considering college. Park Chang-hoon, the university’s dean of student affairs, said he hopes it will be a time for students to enjoy themselves and make memories together, and a chance for residents and prospective students to experience the campus and university culture naturally.
