Virtual boy group PLAVE (YEJUN, NOAH, BAMBY, EUNHO and HAMIN) unveiled the tracklist image for their fifth mini album, ‘HYPERDRIVE,’ due Oct. 12, on their official social media on Oct. 6. The image continues the racing mood of the earlier concept photos and visual sampler, presenting the songs in a design reminiscent of an electronic scoreboard. The album contains five songs: title track ‘Star Trace,’ ‘꾼 (Kkun),’ ‘푸른 하늘에 단비,’ ‘The Answer Is Yes’ and ‘Rewind.’ The members took part in creating every track, and the closing track ‘Rewind’ features outside collaboration from hitmaker KENZIE and her songwriting team KZLAB. It marks their return about six months after their fourth mini album ‘Caligo Pt.2.’ The title track ‘Star Trace’ drew an enthusiastic response when it was previewed by surprise at the encore of their first world tour ‘KEEP IT MANIC’ at Incheon Munhak Stadium. ‘HYPERDRIVE’ will be released digitally on music sites at 6 p.m. on Oct. 12, with the physical album out on Oct. 13. PLAVE, who debuted in March 2023, expanded the scale of their concerts to Incheon Munhak Stadium about 10 months after their solo concert at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome last November.
