GOT7’s JAY B is starting a new musical journey with his third single, ‘Chptr. 1.’ His agency 528Hz released the promotion scheduler for the single, due out on Oct. 27, through its official account. The release is an epilogue-like album that opens a new single series running separately from his full-length albums and EPs, and is set to showcase a broader side of his music. JAY B released his third mini album ‘TREE’ with the title track ‘Layback’ in June and completed ‘TAPE: ROOTS,’ a global tour of 11 cities across Asia and the U.S. After the release, he will appear at ‘2026 K*POP MASTERZ SPECIAL LIVE IN BANGKOK’ at Thunder Dome Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Nov. 14 and 15. Together with GOT7 members BamBam and Mark, he plans to perform solo sets and a special stage over about three hours. JAY B debuted in 2012 as part of JJ Project and debuted again with GOT7 in 2014, and has built his own musical world through active solo work.
