Band Xdinary Heroes are heating up their comeback with an unusual promotion for their new album. The group will release the new mini album ‘IMPULSE’ and its title track ‘Obsessed with Youth’ at 6 p.m. on Oct. 12. Teaser images and an instrumental live sampler presenting every track through live instruments have been rolled out on the group’s social channels. From Sept. 28 to Oct. 4, the band ran an ‘IMPULSE.vernissage’ promotion on Pinterest. Inspired by the French term for a preview that shows works to invited guests before an exhibition officially opens, it gave fans (Villains) behind-the-scenes photos from the teasers and drew them into the album’s narrative, linking craving, freedom, desire, greed, instinct, passion and obsession to each track in a layout resembling a private showroom. At noon on Oct. 5 an additional teaser titled ‘WHAT’S YOUR (BLANK)?’ was unveiled. The album contains seven tracks: the title track ‘Obsessed with Youth’ plus ‘Give Up The Ghost’, ‘Slashhh!’, ‘u and me in arguments’, ‘You Right There’, ‘Love in dystopia’ and ‘Breathe in, Breathe out’. The members took part in writing the title track and several other songs. Following the comeback, the band will hold the solo concert ‘Xdinary Heroes Concert < IMPULSE >’ at Inspire Arena in Incheon from Nov. 13 to 15, returning to the venue where they played a summer special concert in June. Presale for third-generation Villains fan club members runs from 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 7, and general sales open at 8 p.m. on Oct. 19 via Interpark Ticket.
