DAY6 closed the second day of ‘XMF 2026’, held on Oct. 4 at Paradise City Culture Park in Yeongjong, Incheon. The festival, which brings together bands from Korea and Japan, featured Ado and LUCY as headliners on day one and ONE OK ROCK and DAY6 on day two, drawing 42,000 people over the two days. Day two’s lineup, in order, was S-PLIT, The Fix, Hi-Fi Unicorn, MARSI, Ave Mujica-style act Ae! group, Saucy Dog, Xdinary Heroes, UVERworld, YB, ONE OK ROCK and DAY6. YB played signature songs such as ‘I Am a Butterfly’ and ‘White Whale’ plus the unreleased ‘Buoyancy’, while ONE OK ROCK ran through a set including ‘We Are’ and ‘Wherever You Are’, with Japanese rapper Awich making a surprise appearance as the crowd moshed. DAY6, the final act, showed the most overwhelming crowd-drawing power of the day. Opening with ‘Welcome to the Show’, the band filled the stage with hits including ‘Time of Our Life’, ‘HAPPY’, ‘You Were Beautiful’, ‘Love Me or Leave Me’, ‘Sweet Chaos’, ‘Shoot Me’, ‘Somehow’ and ‘I Wish’. It was their first festival stage as a full group in two years, since 2024. Rain that intensified before their set continued into the latter half of the show, and organizers set up a canopy over the members given that the band plays live instruments. Right after the opening, however, the members said they could not stay dry alone and would take the canopy down to enjoy the show together with the audience, then continued performing in the rain. Fans answered the heavy downpour with sing-alongs and cheers. In its first year, XMF also drew criticism over operations, including overnight queuing, delayed entry and inadequate crowd control. The festival is scheduled to return next year on July 3–4 in Tokyo and in October in Incheon.
