TOMORROW X TOGETHER will release their ninth mini album ‘PERFECT STORM’ on Nov. 16. BIGHIT MUSIC announced the release schedule for the new album by SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN and HUENINGKAI on Oct. 5. It comes about seven months after the eighth mini album ‘7TH YEAR: When the Wind Briefly Stopped in the Thicket’, released in April. The previously released comeback teaser carried the line “We need something different from before.” The eighth mini album was the first in which the members themselves, rather than a fictional boy, served as narrators, candidly capturing seven years of confusion, wandering, anxiety and emptiness in their first group album since renewing their contracts. The new album seeks a dynamic expansion in scale on the foundation laid by its predecessor, with that album’s sincerity carried forward as an energy of bold change, according to the agency. The album and tour are designed as a single flow. The “wind” that stayed in the title of the previous album evolves into a ‘PERFECT STORM’ by way of the world tour ‘STEAL THE WIND’, which opens just before the release. TOMORROW X TOGETHER will hold the Seoul shows of the tour at KSPO DOME from Nov. 13 to 15 and release the ninth mini album the very next day, Nov. 16. The previous album reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and won five trophies on Korean music shows.
