Eastar Jet is launching a joint marketing campaign with girl group NMIXX. The airline plans to use NMIXX content across boarding passes, in-flight announcements and even its aircraft to broaden touchpoints with Korean fans as well as overseas visitors. The collaboration was arranged to coincide with the comeback of NMIXX’s sixth mini album ‘Strange Muse’. Eastar Jet will roll out the content mainly in regions where NMIXX are active, such as Taiwan and Japan. First, members’ images will appear on international boarding passes: paper boarding passes on flights departing Korea will feature NMIXX concept photos, while online boarding passes on flights departing overseas will randomly carry a photo and handwritten message from one of the six members. From Oct. 20, greetings recorded by the members and their new songs will be played on board. From next month, an ‘NMIXX wrapped aircraft’ with the members’ images on the fuselage will enter service, and passengers on the wrapped plane will receive unreleased photocards of the members wearing Eastar Jet uniforms. An Eastar Jet official said the collaboration content was built into boarding passes and in-flight services so fans at home and abroad can encounter NMIXX during their travels, offering Korean fans a new boarding experience and overseas fans the joy of traveling to Korea. NMIXX is a six-member girl group under JYP Entertainment consisting of Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo and Kyujin.
