IVE have revealed the tracklist for their new mini album. On Oct. 4, Starship Entertainment posted the song list for ‘Looks Can Kill’, due out Oct. 26, on its official social media. The album contains six tracks: the title track ‘Looks Can Kill’ plus ‘Mirror Mirror’, ‘SNAKESKIN’, ‘CRUMBS’, ‘Girls Girls Girls’ and ‘Glow Motion’. Member participation stands out, with REI credited as a lyricist on the title track and GAEUL and LIZ credited on the lyrics of ‘CRUMBS’. The list of contributors spans Korea and abroad. Gaeko, Seo Ji-eum and Lil Cherry took part in writing the title track, and Omega Sapien joined as a lyricist on ‘CRUMBS’. ‘Glow Motion’ features global pop artist Zara Larsson along with Margo XS and Cecile Believe, who worked on ‘Midnight Sun’. The album’s concept is ‘Another Ego’, built around the idea of a “girl hero.” Following their earlier Cupid and magical-girl characters, IVE expand their narrative with a new identity as heroes. The tracklist image uses a heart-shaped target and mask illustrations for each member, with hero-themed lines placed as hints to the album’s world. IVE will pre-release the title track ‘Looks Can Kill’ on Oct. 19 before the full mini album arrives on Oct. 26.
