FLARE U have warmed up their comeback with a concept video capturing the feelings of boys encountering love for the first time. On Oct. 4, their agency FNC Entertainment released the second concept film for the duo’s second mini album ‘LOVEHOOD’ on its official social media. The film opens with Chaeripwoo walking alone before moving to scenes of him playfully bantering with Kangwoojin. Chaeripwoo’s narration traces the unfamiliar and complicated shifts in emotion felt by a boy experiencing love for the first time. The video ends with the two members laughing together as they enjoy a sudden sun shower, adding a coming-of-age movie feel. ‘LOVEHOOD’ tells the story of a boy growing through the excitement and confusion of experiencing love for the first time. It contains six tracks, including the title song ‘Bloom’, that express a range of romantic emotions from fluttering excitement to longing. Making their first comeback five months after debut, FLARE U will release ‘LOVEHOOD’ on music platforms on Oct. 14.
