SBS’s global concert brand ‘Inkigayo Live in Tokyo’ aired on Oct. 5 at 2:55 p.m. The event, held on Sept. 22 and 23 at Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, drew about 60,000 people over the two days. This year’s show ran under the theme ‘Muniverse’, expressing the idea that when ‘MY’ self and ‘MUSIC’ ‘MEET’, they create ‘MERRY’ ‘MEMORY’, and all of it becomes one ‘MIRACLE’. On Sept. 22, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, RIIZE, CORTIS, NiziU, KickFlip, KiiiKiii and IDID performed alongside Japanese idol group =LOVE and YOASOBI vocalist Lilas Ikuta, with a special collaboration between IVE’s REI and Ikuta. On Sept. 23, following a special opening by IVE’s LEESEO with &TEAM’s EJ and NICHOLAS, the lineup featured IVE, &TEAM, INI, Hearts2Hearts, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, AND2BLE and AEN as well as J-pop acts Ado, BE:FIRST and HANA. The MCs also stood out. IVE’s LEESEO served as main MC on both days; on Sept. 22, CORTIS’s Keonho and Seonghyeon hosted a music show together for the first time since their debut and drew a warm response from the audience, while &TEAM’s EJ joined on Sept. 23. Since its launch at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena in 2023, ‘Inkigayo Live in Tokyo’ has moved to larger venues each year, from Saitama Super Arena in 2024 and Tokyo Dome in 2025 to Belluna Dome this year.
