SHINee’s Onew will pre-release ‘TicTacToe’, a new song with ZICO, on music sites at 6 p.m. on October 7. Inspired by the game in which two players take turns placing O’s and X’s on a grid, the song will showcase a layered sound and chemistry built on Onew’s and ZICO’s contrasting vocal tones. The teaser poster uses a tic-tac-toe grid, with Onew and ZICO placed diagonally in casual styling. On October 2, Onew also posted a four-cut teaser image with the words ‘ONEW X ZICO’ and ‘10.7 6PM (KST) RELEASE’ on his Instagram, along with the caption ‘D-5’. Ahead of his single album ‘Chakgak’ (Illusion), Onew is releasing ‘TicTacToe’ following ‘Mind Games’ with YUJU. The single album, his first release in about seven months since his 5th mini album ‘TOUGH LOVE’ in March, will feature triple title tracks and come out at 6 p.m. on October 20.
