CORTIS’s ‘REDRED’, the title track of its second mini album, ranked third on Melon’s September overall monthly chart released on October 1. According to its agency BIGHIT MUSIC, the song entered at No. 3 in May, rose to No. 2 in June and placed third in July and August, staying in the Top 3 for five straight months. In the past decade, the only K-pop boy group songs to stay in Melon’s monthly Top 3 for five months or more are BTS’s ‘Dynamite’ (2020–2021) and ‘REDRED’. Overseas, the song ranked No. 198 on Billboard’s Global 200 and No. 100 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart dated October 3, logging 22 consecutive weeks on both. ‘REDRED’ resonated with listeners through lyrics that compare what the members guard against to ‘RED’ and what they aspire to to ‘GREEN’. CORTIS will perform on the main stage of the ‘Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026’ at the Marina Bay Circuit on October 9 (local time), as the only K-pop artist invited to the event’s festival this year.
