BIGBANG's G-Dragon and Daesung showed off their playful chemistry in a video filmed in New York. On the 29th, a video titled “G-DRAGON - GD loves NYC. GD's Day” was posted on G-Dragon's YouTube channel. In the video, the two traveled to New York after BIGBANG's concert in Oakland. Running into Daesung in a hotel elevator in Oakland, G-Dragon joked, “Today we're leaving on another honeymoon. A never-ending honeymoon,” adding, “since Taeyang has a family.” Daesung shot back, “There's talk that Young-bae hyung is deliberately stepping aside.” The pair sat side by side on a chartered plane and arrived in New York after a flight of about five hours. In New York, G-Dragon went on a sightseeing cruise with his agency staff. He grumbled, “I've come to New York so many times, why ride this? I don't even ride these in Korea,” but as soon as the Statue of Liberty came into view, he went outside to take commemorative photos. Later, eating at a Korean restaurant in New York, he said it was his first meal in two days because he had been sleeping, adding, “The legendary three-day sleep was in New York,” and “Now that I'm older, I slept a day and a half.” Meeting again the next day, the two warmed up the mood with a pre-meal couple dance. G-Dragon showed off his nail art to Daesung and kept up a married-couple skit, saying, “Let's go home today and do your nails, wife. I'll do all five.” When Daesung suggested “couple-log” as the channel name, G-Dragon settled on “wife-log,” drawing laughs.
