Group BABYMONSTER sold out two shows at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan, meeting 90,000 fans. According to a concert review published on the 28th by Singapore music outlet Bandwagon, BABYMONSTER held its world tour concerts at Kyocera Dome Osaka on September 22 and 23, the group's first-ever dome performances. Opening with 'WE GO UP' backed by a full live band, BABYMONSTER performed 'SHEESH' and 'DRIP', both of which have surpassed 100 million cumulative streams in Japan, along with tracks from its third mini album 'CHOOM'. For the dome shows, the group added its first original Japanese song 'Ghost', 'REALLY LIKE YOU' and latest release 'SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA' to the setlist, and each member also had a solo stage. The members spoke to fans in Japanese without interpreters, rode moving carts close to the stands during the encore, and returned for a second encore in response to the audience. The concerts were the finale of the group's Japan tour, which began in Kobe in July and comprised 11 shows in six cities, drawing 200,000 fans in total. Japanese members ASA and RUKA said, "From the very first moment onstage, we were so overwhelmed we thought we might cry. Seeing fans fill every seat made us realize again how many people love us." BABYMONSTER launched its second world tour, '2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [CHOOM]', in Seoul in June and will continue with 30 shows in 18 cities across Asia, Oceania, South America, North America and Europe. An additional Hong Kong concert on January 10 has also been confirmed.
