Son Ho-young of the group god will release a new song for the first time in about five years to mark his 20th anniversary as a solo artist. Son Ho-young will release the digital single 'Go Around' on various online music sites at 6 p.m. on October 14. The new song is his first solo release in about five years, following '흘러가는 시간 속에서,' released in March 2021. Having reached the 20th anniversary of his solo debut this year, Son plans to continue a commemorative project starting with the new song. At midnight on the 29th, a comeback scheduler showing the timeline leading up to the release of 'Go Around' was posted on Son Ho-young's official social media. According to the scheduler, various content such as concept photos and lyric teasers will be revealed in sequence ahead of the release. The scheduler also includes wording that hints at solo concerts on October 31 and November 1, suggesting his activities will continue with solo performances after the song's release. While active as a member of god, Son Ho-young has also steadily worked as a solo singer and TV personality. He began his solo career by releasing his first full-length album 'Yes' in September 2006 and holds a solo fan meeting every year around his birthday in March. In March this year, he held the 2026 solo fan meeting 'HOurs' at the Centennial Memorial Hall Concert Hall of Yonsei University in Seoul. In May, he took part in 'Sky Blue Balloon Week' ('하늘색 풍선 위크'), a large-scale theme park project celebrating god's 10,000th day since debut, where god and HoooW fan concerts were held.
