BOYNEXTDOOR release first studio album repackage 'HOME: DELUXE', trying electro-funk for the first time with title track 'ANIMAL'

BOYNEXTDOOR released 'HOME: DELUXE', the repackage of their first studio album, at 6 p.m. on the 28th. The album contains 14 tracks: the nine songs from 'HOME' plus the new songs 'ANIMAL' and 'CLICHE', the Korean version of 'Count To Love', previously released in Japan, 'Boom Boom Boom', and '400 Years', the group's first fan song, which was first unveiled on YouTube. The title track 'ANIMAL' is the group's first electro-funk song, comparing the drive to pursue what one wants to the instinctive movements of an animal. Jaehyun, Taesan and Woonhak took part in producing the song, and Taesan explained that the ad-libs were inspired by the 'Whop Whop' sounds fans made during their U.S. concerts. Riwoo took part in creating choreography for the first time, designing chorus moves that audiences can easily follow. The music video was filmed in places including Daejeon, Paju and Incheon and shows the members roaming freely through the city. The members said that if the studio album was a home that seriously explored the team's inner self, this release is a party where they run around freely inside it, adding that they hope listeners will set reason aside for a moment and simply feel the music. BOYNEXTDOOR will continue promotions through music shows and radio, and will hold the fan event 'HOME PARTY' on the 19th of next month at Woori WON Banking Hall in Blue Square, Hannam-dong, Seoul. They will also star in their own podcast, 'DAMN!BULANCE', on HYBE MEDIA STUDIO's video podcast label STAN:A, premiering at 7 p.m. KST on the 2nd of next month. Currently on their first world tour, 'KNOCK ON Vol. 2', the group will play 10 cities across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, starting in Dallas on October 30 and continuing through New York, Toronto, Los Angeles and more before ending in Mexico City on November 24.
