Girl group IVE will release a new mini album, 'Looks Can Kill', on October 26. Their agency Starship Entertainment shared the news on the 28th, saying IVE will release a pre-release song on October 19 ahead of the album. The comeback was first revealed through a 'coming soon' teaser posted on the group's official social media. The video showed projection mapping on a downtown skyscraper along with the new album logo and the phrase 'IVE SPIN-OFF RELEASE 2026.10.19'; Seoul landmarks then appeared behind the building, followed by IVE logo graphics filling its exterior walls. The agency plans to release related teaser content in sequence. This marks IVE's first new release in Korea in about eight months, since their second full-length album 'REVIVE+' in February. Its double title track 'BANG BANG' topped major domestic music charts, earning the group its sixth Perfect All-Kill, and won eight music show trophies, with 'BLACKHOLE' adding one more, bringing IVE's career total to 83 music show wins. 'BANG BANG' also entered Billboard charts including the Global 200. IVE recently wrapped up its second world tour, 'SHOW WHAT I AM', which began in Seoul and visited major cities in Asia, Oceania and North America. The group also performed at Kyocera Dome and Tokyo Dome in Japan, and met fans in eight North American cities, including three Canadian cities: Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
