Stray Kids drew 270,000 fans in Latin America with 'STRAYCITY', a new festival bearing their own name. Their agency JYP Entertainment announced on the 28th that STRAYCITY completed its first run with the shows in Mexico City, Mexico, on the 25th and 26th (local time). Co-organized by JYP Entertainment and global promoter Live Nation, STRAYCITY was held five times in three locations: it began in Bogotá, Colombia, on the 9th, moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, on the 14th and 15th, and finished in Mexico City on the 25th and 26th. As headliners, Stray Kids led massive sing-alongs with signature songs such as 'MANIAC' and 'Thunderous'. Earlier, on the 11th, Stray Kids became the first K-pop artist to headline Brazil's major music festival Rock in Rio, drawing 100,000 people. Adding the festival audience, they met a total of 370,000 fans in Latin America this month alone. Last year, their world tour 'dominATE' drew 400,000 people in South America alone. According to reports, the festival is meaningful in that it turned Stray Kids' musical world into an independent festival brand, built on their experience of large world tours and headlining overseas festivals such as Lollapalooza and BST Hyde Park. Their self-producing capability, centered on the producing team 3RACHA made up of Bang Chan, Changbin and HAN, was also cited as the foundation of this growth.
