BIGHIT MUSIC said it had been involved since the investigation stage, actively cooperating with investigators including by submitting a petition for severe punishment, and that it will continue to do its best to eradicate ticket scalping and other acts that disrupt order in the concert market. Punishment for malicious posts is also continuing. People who posted defamatory or insulting content about the artists on overseas social media such as Threads, Instagram and X, as well as on domestic and international communities such as DC Inside and Naver News, recently received summary fine orders and court rulings. BIGHIT MUSIC stressed that anonymous overseas communities are no exception to criminal punishment, and that fueling or spreading false rumors and fake news about albums, concerts and content, or repeatedly and systematically posting false information, are also punishable. The agency added that it is tracking the activities of malicious actors and gathering evidence through a real-time evidence collection system and monitoring, and that suspects caught through complaints and investigations are dealt with under a zero-tolerance policy with no leniency.
