When a U.S. music festival TOMORROW X TOGETHER was set to appear at was canceled due to bad weather, the group rented an indoor practice room in New York and put on a surprise show. According to agency BIGHIT MUSIC, the members were scheduled to open the '2026 Global Citizen Festival' in New York's Central Park on the 26th, local time, as the only Korean act on this year's lineup, with Yeonjun also set to give a solo performance, but the event was canceled because of local weather conditions. The group quickly rented an indoor practice room and held a 'New York Practice Room Festival' via Weverse live stream at 9 a.m. Korea time on the 27th. “We prepared so hard and it felt a shame not to show you, so we rented a practice room. Only the space has changed—we have everything properly set up. As long as we have music and a microphone, we can give it our all anywhere,” the members said. Dancers who had prepared for the festival also joined, recreating the originally planned performances. The group performed five songs, including 'Our Summer (You and I found in the 5:53 sky)', '0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori' and a cover of Justin Bieber's 'Beauty And A Beat', as well as a gukak version of 'Sugar Rush Ride' with hanbok-inspired outfits and Korean-style choreography. Yeonjun sang 'Talk to You' and 'Ice Cream', the title tracks of his first and second solo mini albums, and a cover of Post Malone's 'Sunflower'. At the end of the show, a comeback spoiler video featuring the phrase “We need something different from before” was also revealed. TOMORROW X TOGETHER will start its world tour 'STEAL THE WIND' at Seoul's KSPO DOME on November 13–15 before continuing through Asia, Japan, North America and Europe, and is also set to appear, both as a group and with Yeonjun as a solo artist, on the '2026 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour' in New York on December 11, Boston on the 13th and Washington, D.C. on the 14th (local time).
