Haewon introduced the product as part of the skincare routine she uses to manage her skin condition amid a busy schedule. According to Innisfree, the 'Retinol Cica Pore Mark Ampoule' features a strengthened formula containing 3X Retinol Complex and 3X Cica, with higher ingredient content than the previous product, and focuses on smoothing the appearance of skin marks and firming the skin around pores. The company explained that its proprietary retinol liposome technology encapsulates active ingredients in liposomes 2,300 times smaller than pores, and that the product was designed with a skin irritation score of 0.00 so that first-time retinol users can feel less burdened. The 'Retinol Cica' line consists of an ampoule, a cream and a gel mask, among others.
