On the 26th, local time, BIGBANG held the London show of its 20th-anniversary world tour 'BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS >' at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in north London. Fans came not only from London but from towns across the UK. One fan who said she traveled more than four hours by train from Bath with her mother sang along to the Korean lyrics throughout the show, and another fan from Shrewsbury, who works at a K-pop record store, said she first discovered BIGBANG at age 14. Before the show, fans around the stadium were seen freely sharing photocards and handmade goods they had made themselves. Professor Kim Mi-kyung of the Korean studies department at the University of Lancashire, who attended with her students, said, “In the UK, K-pop is more than just going to concerts; there is something beyond the music, and simply sharing a love of K-pop seems to create a feeling of kindness toward one another.” The report noted that Korean studies departments exist at three UK universities—SOAS, the University of Lancashire and York St John University—and highlighted the influence of BIGBANG, which has led the Korean Wave for 20 years.
