IVE member Rei has sung a solo OST for the first time since her debut. 'Hello', Part 1 of the soundtrack for the Disney+ and Channel A drama 'Dive Into You', was released on major online music sites at 6 p.m. on the 27th. 'Hello' is a song about the earnest wish to reach a precious person again by going back in time, and a love one wants to protect to the end. It layers a grand string arrangement over a lyrical piano melody, and was written and composed by music director Heo Seong-jin, known for hit soundtracks such as 'Descendants of the Sun', together with Diori. In keeping with the drama being a Korea-Japan co-production, the song was released simultaneously in Korean and Japanese versions, and Rei, who is from Japan, sang both. 'Dive Into You', which premiered on the 26th, is a rescue romance about twin siblings Yoon Ha-na and Yoon Ha-ru, who discover they can travel back in time with an old camcorder and dive into the past to bring back their first love, Jeong Woo-jae. The cast includes Kim Ji-yeon, Park Seo-ham, Jang Se-hyuk and Moon Seung-yu. Rei has broadened her range by writing lyrics for IVE's signature songs, releasing her self-written solo track 'In Your Heart', taking part in a tribute album for Japan's Seiko Matsuda and featuring on a song by MONSTA X's Joohoney. She has also hosted a global awards show for two consecutive years and stars in her own web variety show '따라해볼레이'.
