Girl group RESCENE will perform at the opening ceremony of the '72nd Baekje Cultural Festival' in Gongju, South Chungcheong Province. Gongju City has unveiled the performance lineup for the festival, which will be held from October 3 to 11 around Geumgang Singwan Park, Gongsanseong Fortress and the old royal capital area. Held under the theme 'Bronze Mirror, Shining the Light of 1,500-Year-Old Baekje', this year's festival is designed as a large-scale cultural event that adds popular music and performing arts to its foundation of history and tradition. At the October 3 opening ceremony, RESCENE will kick off the festival, with Huh Gak and trot singer Yoyomi also taking the stage, and a drone light show with 1,000 drones lighting up the sky over the Geumgang River is also planned. In addition, Kim Jang-hoon will appear at the 'Donghaeng' event for Culture Day for People with Disabilities on October 7, and Baek Ji-young and harmonica player Park Jong-sung will perform at the South Chungcheong Symphony Orchestra's regular concert on the 8th. Filming for JTBC's music program 'Begin Again' is scheduled in Gongju on the 6th, with about 10,000 people applying to attend. On the stages linked to the '22nd National Excellent Market Fair' from the 9th to 11th, Lee Chan-won, Seol Ha-yoon, Heo Chan-mi and Lee Dae-hwan (9th) and Ailee, Urban Zakapa and H1-KEY (10th) will perform, while Haha & Skull, Nerd Connection and Kim Eui-young will appear at the closing ceremony on the 11th.
