Taemin, a member of SHINee and solo artist, signed an exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation, an AI entertainment technology company, on the 11th. The company announced it would provide full support to maximize synergy between Taemin's outstanding artistic capabilities and its cutting-edge technological prowess. Galaxy Corporation, Korea's first AI entertainment technology firm, combines artificial intelligence and robotics with entertainment content, strategically aiming to create added value by integrating artists' intellectual property (IP) with digital technology. With this move, Taemin joins the agency alongside G-DRAGON, actor Song Kang-ho, and broadcaster Kim Jong-guk. Since debuting as a SHINee member in 2008, Taemin released multiple hit songs including 'Everybody', 'Ring Ding Dong', and 'View', establishing himself as a representative K-pop artist. Following his solo debut in 2014, he released tracks like 'Danger', 'Move', and 'Want', solidifying his position as a distinctive solo artist known for exceptional performances. He successfully completed his first solo world tour 'Ephemeral Gaze' across 37 concerts in 20 countries including Asia, America, and Europe starting in August last year. After leaving SM Entertainment and passing through Big Planet Made Entertainment, Taemin joined Galaxy Corporation and will participate in various global entertainment technology projects. Notably, he will perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California on April 11th and 18th, becoming the first Korean male solo artist to take the stage at this prestigious festival.
