Lee Seoyeon, from fromis_9, released her first mini album ‘GOODIES’ under the stage name Y:SY. This is the first new album in about 10 months since last year’s single ‘NAKED’. The album consists of four songs centered on R&B, and includes the double title songs ‘LANGUAGE’ and ‘ENERGY’, as well as ‘My Blanket’ and ‘Stay Beautiful’. ‘LANGUAGE’ combines the textures of Plug&B and old school hip hop, while ‘ENERGY’ features the relaxed atmosphere of West Coast style and the mid-bass of Y:SY. ‘My Blanket’ is dream pop, and ‘Stay Beautiful’ has a vintage texture and a positive message. Y:SY explained that she participated in writing and composing with several producers and chose music that he liked and wanted to continue in the future.
