The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency is implementing maximum security measures for BTS's comeback concert scheduled for June 21st at Gwanghwamun in Seoul. Considering the deteriorating Middle Eastern situation and international security concerns, police have decided to deploy the maximum available special forces units and heighten alert status against potential terrorist threats. Metal detectors will be installed at all 30 entrance points to the venue, and attendees will be required to enter through designated stadium-style controlled access routes to prevent unauthorized items from entering the concert grounds. To prevent vehicle ramming attacks, police will position light-up vehicles, barrel-shaped barricades, and police buses on major roads and side streets surrounding the venue. Special forces teams will conduct comprehensive pre-event safety inspections across the entire concert area. Additionally, police have established a joint analysis and response team to monitor and preemptively respond to bomb threat reports by analyzing the danger level of each report. The police department has warned that anyone making threats to police operations or disrupting the event will face criminal prosecution with mandatory arrest, along with civil liability for damages.
