Kakao Entertainment Expands Global Influence Through IVE and WOODZ World Tours

Kakao Entertainment, led by co-CEOs Kwon Gi-su and Jang Yoon-jung, is continuously expanding its influence in the global music market as IVE and singer-songwriter WOODZ embark on world tours. Artists under various labels within the Kakao Group have released new music consecutively since the beginning of the year and achieved outstanding results on both domestic and international charts. In particular, Starship Entertainment's rookie girl group KiiiKicki and SM Entertainment's Hearts2Hearts are receiving attention as next-generation K-pop icons as they enter their second year following their debut last year. KiiiKicki dominated major domestic music charts and music program rankings with the title track '404 (New Era)' from their second mini album 'Delulu Pack' released earlier this year, and achieved a remarkable feat by entering the Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.) chart for three consecutive weeks. Through a business cooperation system with SM Entertainment within the Kakao Group, the domestic and international activities of artists are creating significant synergy. Kakao Entertainment is strengthening its influence in the global music market by leveraging artist IP spanning diverse genres and generations. Additionally, by previewing the global debut of a rookie band and continuously expanding the artist lineup, the company is expected to further solidify its position in the K-pop market.
