STE, the Chinese joint venture established by SM Entertainment and Tencent Music, is preparing its local artist business. According to the report, Super Junior-M's Zhou Mi will lead the company, which is set to manage activities in China for WayV's Xiaojun and Yangyang and NCT's Renjun. Alongside supporting existing artists, STE plans to recruit and develop new talent in China. It intends to build local audition and management operations and introduce a new Chinese group within two to three years. This remains a business plan; a specific debut date for the new group has not been confirmed.
