TAEMIN of SHINee has proven his presence by becoming the first Korean male solo artist to perform at the major American festival 'Coachella,' and now he is accelerating his global expansion with a new album. TAEMIN will release a new EP 'Phase 1: Soft Violence' on the 31st, marking his first album since joining Galaxy Corporation, home to BIGBANG's G-DRAGON. The new album features 11 tracks and presents a double title concept with 'Float,' a sweet pop sound track, and 'Qui,' a hip-hop pop track in which TAEMIN participated in writing the lyrics, showcasing an expanded musical spectrum. Notably, the album combines the paradoxical concepts of 'softness' and 'violence' with a unique visual narrative. The previously released concept photos, available in both 'Sweet Violence' and 'Bitter Violence' versions, utilize familiar yet alien objects such as ants, slime, rusty walls, and clay, visually expanding the concept of violence and maximizing the album's contrasting aesthetics while raising expectations for TAEMIN's distinctive artistry.
