Hong Eunchae, a member of K-pop group LE SSERAFIM, served as the ceremonial first pitch thrower at the KBO League game between the Doosan Bears and Kiwoom Heroes on the 29th at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul. Dressed in full uniform, Hong Eunchae delivered a stable pitch to start the game and remained in the stands to cheer throughout. Notably, when the team fell behind by one point, she led cheers to LE SSERAFIM's hit song 'BOOMPALA,' and the Doosan Bears subsequently achieved a comeback victory with a 7-2 final score. Known as a dedicated baseball fan, Hong Eunchae has maintained a perfect winning streak, with all four games in which she participated as either a ceremonial pitcher or batter resulting in victories for the respective teams. She previously appeared as a ceremonial batter in a 2022 Doosan-KT game and as sole ceremonial pitcher at Doosan's 2025 season opener in March. She also threw the first pitch at a Japanese NPB game featuring the Chiba Lotte Marines, resulting in an 8-0 victory. LE SSERAFIM plans to release their second single 'Made My Night' on September 11.
