Actor Lee Ju-seung Wins Grand Prize at Korea Short Drama Awards for 'The Girl Upstairs'

Actor and director Lee Ju-seung won the Grand Prize at the 1st Korea Short Drama Awards held on the 29th at the Korean Film Archive in Sangam-dong for his directorial work 'The Girl Upstairs'. Selected among 12 finalists from over 200 submitted works, Lee Ju-seung received the prestigious award. In his acceptance speech, he expressed gratitude to all staff and actors who worked on the production and pledged to continue striving to become an excellent writer, director, and actor. Last month, Lee also won the grand championship at 'Directors Arena', Korea's first short drama director survival show, earning 100 million won as writer, director, and lead actor. As a descendant of a national merit awardee, Lee donated the entire prize money to single-parent family facilities. Actors Byun Yo-han, Cheon Woo-hee, and Ok Ja-yeon congratulated him on his achievement.
