Pledis Entertainment's idol group TWS (members: Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) has launched its first VR concert titled 'TWS VR CONCERT : RUSH ROAD'. The performance will be exclusively screened at Megabox COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, from the 4th through the 5th of next month. The concert will simultaneously debut at a major cinema in Bangkok on opening day, followed by releases in Hong Kong on the 6th, Kaohsiung and Taipei on the 13th, and subsequently in seven additional global cities including Singapore and Mexico City. Ticket reservations sold out instantly on opening day, with most first-week showtimes quickly purchased by fans. Despite being a single-theater release, the strong pre-sale demand propelled it to second place on the overall Megabox movie chart. 'Rush Road' captures the boundless journey of youth at full speed through an immersive VR experience. The concert features TWS's signature tracks including 'OVERDRIVE', 'The First Meeting Does Not Go as Planned', and 'Oh Mymy : 7s', performed across diverse virtual spaces such as a rock festival, a sunset rooftop, and a mysterious aurora. Viewers can vividly experience the group's refreshing and high-energy performances as if standing directly before them, with production that seamlessly traverses time and space.
