Vernon (28, Choi Han-sol) of SEVENTEEN, who holds dual citizenship of South Korea and the United States, will begin his military service on the 20th. Born to a Korean father and American mother, Vernon has chosen to serve in the South Korean military. He will enter a training center to receive basic military training, then serve as a social service worker for alternative military service. The agency requested fans to refrain from visiting the training center and to continue supporting Vernon as he faithfully completes his military obligation. Vernon debuted with SEVENTEEN in May 2015 and has gained popularity through numerous hit songs including 'Mansae,' 'Pretty U,' and 'Very Nice.' Among the members, Jeonghan was discharged in June, becoming the first member to complete military service, Won-woo is serving as a social service worker, Hoshi and Woozi are serving as active-duty soldiers, and Do-kyeom is scheduled to enlist on September 8th.
