CJ CGV announced on the 5th that it will livestream 'PLAVE 3RD ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL LIVE' on the 12th to commemorate the 3rd debut anniversary of virtual idol group PLAVE. The special live event will be held for approximately 120 minutes with a fan meeting concept enjoyed in theaters, and will be broadcast simultaneously across about 30 CGV theaters nationwide including Gangnam, Gwangju Geumnamro, Daegu, Daejeon Terminal, Seomyeon, Centum City, Yongsan I'Park Mall, Ulsan Samsan, Incheon, Jeonju Hyoja, Changwon The City, Cheonan Pentaport, and Cheongju Seomun. The event will feature PLAVE's live performances along with various segments for audience interaction. All attendees will receive special handwritten postcards, and reservations are available starting the 5th through the CGV mobile app on a first-come, first-served basis. CGV stated it aims to deliver the live atmosphere vividly through large screens and immersive sound environments, providing fans with an experience of shared connection in one space. Meanwhile, PLAVE achieved double million-seller status last year with 1.03 million copies of their 3rd mini album and 1.09 million copies of their 2nd single, while their Asia tour saw three consecutive sold-out nights at KSPO Dome and two sold-out nights for their encore concert at Gocheok Sky Dome.
