BLACKPINK released their third mini album 'DEADLINE' on February 27th at 2 p.m., claiming the No. 1 position on Circle Chart's weekly album chart for February 22-28, 2026. With just one and a half days of sales counted, the album achieved 1,750,692 copies sold, setting a new record for highest first-day sales by a K-pop female artist. The group dominated all categories on Circle Chart, including the Retail Album Chart and Social Chart 3.0. YG Entertainment announced that "global album demand far exceeded initial expectations, and additional production is underway." According to Hanteo Chart, the album recorded 1.46 million first-day sales and simultaneously topped both the weekly and monthly charts in just two and a half days of tabulation, demonstrating unprecedented popularity. This remarkable achievement comes approximately three years and five months after their previous full-group release, reflecting intense global fan interest. The album 'DEADLINE' captures 'BLACKPINK's greatest irreversible moments' and 'BLACKPINK shining brightest at those peak moments,' featuring five tracks including the title track 'GO' that showcases the group's signature positive and confident energy, along with 'Jump', 'Me and my', 'Champion', and 'Fxxxboy'.
