YG Entertainment Officially Announces BIGBANG's 20th Anniversary Global Tour

YG Entertainment officially announced BIGBANG's global tour to commemorate its 30th anniversary. On the 4th, Yang Hyun-suk, executive producer of YG, appeared on YG's official YouTube channel and unveiled the '2026 YG PLAN,' sequentially announcing BIGBANG's 20th-anniversary global tour, roadmaps for BabyMonster and Treasure, and plans to debut new groups. The industry views YG's bundling of key artists' schedules in a single video as an unusual move presenting a 'big picture' strategy. Yang stated, "To mark the 20th anniversary this year, we have agreed to stage BIGBANG performances and will launch a global tour." Previously, BIGBANG's 2026 Coachella appearance was made official, and G-Dragon expressed anticipation for a full-group 20th-anniversary reunion at a fan meeting in February. This announcement appears to be driven by BLACKPINK's successful comeback. Notably, it draws attention for presenting a 'legend relay' structure alongside BLACKPINK's return. BLACKPINK released its third mini-album 'Deadline' on the 27th of last month, achieving 1.46 million copies sold on day one.
