Rookie K-pop group PLAVE has made history at the ASEA 2026 awards with an unprecedented achievement. According to the final voting results, PLAVE secured the top spot in February's monthly voting with 36.31% of the votes, surpassing BTS (30.18%). This marks their eighth consecutive monthly victory since July of last year through February of this year, demonstrating their dominance among global top groups. Stray Kids (5.63%), Tomorrow X Together (5.33%), and ENHYPEN (3.51%) followed in the rankings. The success is attributed to the festive atmosphere surrounding their approaching third-anniversary debut celebration. PLAVE will hold a special live concert on March 12th to commemorate their third anniversary, which will be broadcast live nationwide through their official YouTube channel and CGV cinemas. Additionally, special handwritten postcard giveaway events are planned for theater attendees, showcasing PLAVE's distinctive fan service strategy that transcends virtual and physical boundaries. As February's monthly voting winner, PLAVE receives exclusive benefits including a trophy, main banner exposure on the News1 homepage, and subway advertising at Jamsil Station (15th). Their accumulated top score will be reflected in the preliminary round of judging, establishing them as the strongest candidate for the awards ceremony. The main voting will take place through three official platforms—PODOAL, mubeat, and my1pick—with participation from K-pop fans worldwide.
