A woman in her 30s from Brazil was indicted on charges of stalking and residential intrusion for repeatedly visiting the home of BTS member Jungkook. The Seoul Western District Prosecutor's Office's Women and Children Crime Investigation Division announced on March 3rd that suspect A was formally prosecuted after being arrested on February 27th. According to the investigation, the suspect visited Jungkook's residence approximately 20 times between December of last year and January of this year, repeatedly ringing the doorbell and leaving mail at his home. During questioning, the suspect claimed her actions were motivated by love for Jungkook, but prosecutors determined the behavior constituted stalking. The suspect was initially apprehended on December 13th of last year for breaking into Jungkook's residence but was released. However, she continued her criminal behavior afterward. Despite police issuing an emergency restraining order prohibiting her from approaching within 100 meters of the residence, the suspect repeatedly attempted to access the property. Following these additional violations, police arrested her again and referred her case to prosecutors on February 19th.
