Actor Lee Ju-seung announced on the 13th through his Instagram story that he visited the Blue House thanks to his grandfather's status as a National Meritorious Person. On that day, President Lee Jae-myung invited national meritorious persons and their families to the Blue House for a luncheon, and Lee Ju-seung attended wearing formal attire with a name tag. The gift he received from the Blue House included a watch engraved with President Lee Jae-myung's name. His grandfather, Lee Jong-gyu, was a national meritorious person who served as an officer in the Korean War, and after his discharge, worked as an elementary school teacher until his death in February. Lee Jong-gyu was known for his warm heart, personally paying tuition fees and school expenses for students in difficult circumstances. Lee Ju-seung previously appeared on the variety show 'I Live Alone' in February 2024, visiting his grandparents' home and showing his deep affection for his grandfather.
