Girl group ILLIT has achieved a Gold Disc certification from the Japan Record Association for their 2nd Japanese single 'I Got Your Back'. The certification was obtained just three days after the album's release on July 29th, with shipments exceeding 100,000 copies. This marks ILLIT's second consecutive Gold Disc certification for a Japanese release, following their 1st Japanese single 'Toki Yo Tomare' released in September of the previous year. The title track 'I Got Your Back (Feat. JISOO, MOMOKA of HANA)' ranked number one on Japan's Oricon Daily Single Ranking two weeks after its release, gaining rapid popularity through local music broadcasts and performances. The single includes the title track, a Korean version, and the TV anime opening theme song 'Sunday Morning'. ILLIT continues to demonstrate strong performance in music streaming and will perform at 'KCON LA 2026' on the 15th to meet global fans.
